It was so surreal.
To see people casually firing guns in salute of someone's birthday. Even if it is fired directly into soft soil, it still is something you will be afraid of. People somewhere in the deep south celebrate life this way. With the use of a gun that ironically takes away life.
A bit scary if you ask me. Almost overwhelming mix of emotions will rush through you. And then you wonder, is it really this easy to hold a gun and fire away in this country?
In the end, nobody really pays notice once the firing stops and the smell of gun powder fades. The celebration continues and life goes on.
